Seetha Maneyapanda Rivera, MD, FAAP
Seetha Maneyapanda Rivera, MD is a board-certified pediatrician born in Paterson, NJ and raised in Clifton, NJ where she completed her early education. She then attended Princeton University where she majored in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She graduated with accolades that include induction into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She then pursued her passion for medicine and service at UMDNJ – NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, where as a Humanism Scholar she was granted a scholarship from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ. She stayed at NJMS to complete her residency training in Pediatrics. Once finished with her training, she joined Building Blocks Pediatric Group in Harrison, NJ.

Roger A. Rivera Jr., MD is a board-certified pediatrician born in Managua, Nicaragua, who immigrated to the USA as a child. He spent his early childhood in Miami, FL, after which his family relocated to Clifton, NJ where he completed his early education. He then attended Rutgers College – Rutgers University where he graduated from the general honors program with a major in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. He pursued his passion for medicine at UMDNJ – NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, where as a Humanism Scholar he was granted a scholarship from the Healthcare Foundation of NJ. He stayed at NJMS to complete his residency training in Pediatrics. His accolades there include being chosen as Intern of the year in 2009, Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award recipient in 2009, and Senior Resident of the Year in 2011. Additionally, he was selected to stay at NJMS to serve a year as Pediatric Chief Resident. Once finished with his training, he opened Building Blocks Pediatric Group in Harrison, NJ with Dr. Yilda Alvarado.
